At Northcrest Care Centre we enrich the lives of our
residents by providing recreation opportunities that
recognize each individual’s interests, likes, needs
and abilities. We promote the development of
meaningful relationships and strive to provide
memorable experiences for residents and their family
members.
Our monthly calendars provide a range of recreation
programs designed to meet the social, emotional,
cognitive, spiritual, physical and cultural needs of
our residents. Residents at Northcrest also have the
choice to participate in a variety of specialized
programs such as Horticulture, Music and Art Therapy.
The Recreation Staff use every reason, and every
season, to bring our residents together for fun and
celebration. Special events include our birthday
parties, community outings, bingo, laundry folding,
hymn singing, church services, BBQ lunches, pet
visits, special events, open houses, exercise
programs and cultural celebrations such as
Christmas, Easter, Diwali and Vaisakhi! At
Northcrest, there are recreational activities
planned for every day of the week!! |
